I lost that blogging feeling

It seems that I've lost that blogging feeling here. In fact, I've kinda lost it on most of my blogs over the weekend. I think it's a temporary thing. I'm sure I'll get my blogging mojo back again in a few places... but no signs of anything around here.

Focus

There is a mission behind this blog. Really. It's more than just the jb Blog Roll part II... although, in the past few weeks, that's all that it has been. It might be that time for new developments here and a renewed focus on blogging in my life... or just more of the same. Time will tell.

blogger is 7

It's no joke... Blogger was launched 7 years ago today. You'd think, that after 7 years, they'd have figured out how to let all users load photos from all browsers at any time without the possibility of failure. Or have something closer to 99.9999 percent uptime. Or be winning the war with something as crappy as MySpace. Anyway... happy birthday.

ok... which id do you want me to sign in with? my blogger id or my gmail address or my social security number... oh i am so confused!!! =;-/

am i the only one who doesn't think that this convergence is a good thing? i've finally memorized all the correct passwords, and now i need to migrate and teach my fingers new keystroke patterns and new passwords. i am such a luddite.

not dead yet

daily life has a way of preventing blogging sometimes. this blog might get some new life in the next few weeks. i'll just have to schedule accordingly.

My favorite Blog of Note recently has been Connectedness - all of my web identities that blog dig it... especially the identities in the "jb" blogging empire that used to be network analysis geeks in previous incarnations.

Blogs Of Note out to lunch?

On Thursday, June 22, Blogs Of Note failed to pick a noteworthy blog. I can't remember a day being missed that wasn't a weekend or holiday. I don't think that had happened since January 19th (unless I counted wrong... please let me know if I did).

Off on a tangent, I'm again looking for direction on this blog. We'll see what happens.

Post Mortem

I hope this is my last post on this subject. Blogger/Blogspot performance has been superb in the second half of this week. I just wish that I could have more confidence that it will stay that way. I'd like to see a full post mortem report on Blogger Status or a Google Group or someplace. The chances of that are slim. And I'm really tired of revisionist stories from Blogger/Google apologists. Blogger was down for large portions of June 8, 9, and 13 with extremely poor performance on June 7 and 12. Please don't tell people to STFU. Identify and fix the problem, tell us what went wrong, how it's been fixed and move on.
